I had started to drink instant coffee by NesCafe for a period since I could not attain Rufous' coffee in London. These days, I gradually got used to its taste. It is, of course, not as good as brewing coffee, but I have no reason to ask more since God has given me a wonderful life in which I can do my favorite research. I should not complain about the coffee at all.
However, I got a news link several days ago about how NesCafe reduces the coffee bean cost by unfairly lowering the payment to coffee farmers in South America or Africa. It was really a shock that I had been drinking those farmers "blood" for such a long time. Actually, except for coffee, I may also have already had many people's "blood" when I am enjoying this civilisation...
I stopped buying NesCafe after reading the news, and bought a fairtrade coffee. It may be silly and not practical, but it may be the only thing I can do now to help those people.
The taste of the fairtrade coffee I bought is terrible, really terrible, and relatively expensive. But Fairtrade coffee or Fairtaste coffee? that is not a question at all.
Fairtrade Coffee !!!
This is a blog for Lipen's friends to say something. You can practice English with me; you can tell me about you; even you can scold me. Just be yourself.
